About Chiller Van Service — Trusted Refrigerated Vehicle Rental Company Since 2014
Chiller Van Service is a refrigerated transport company based in Dubai, founded in March 2014 and owned by Nazar Afridi. We move temperature-sensitive goods — food, dairy, pharmaceuticals, flowers, poultry and frozen products — for businesses across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and the wider UAE. What began as a small operation has grown into one of the region’s more established cold chain providers, built on owned vehicles, in-house maintenance and a simple principle: the cold chain either holds or it doesn’t.
Today we operate a fleet of more than 120 vehicles across six categories, from chiller and freezer vans to multi-ton refrigerated trucks, all maintained and operated to HACCP food-safety standards. Our dispatch runs 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and more than a decade of continuous operation means the routes, timings and compliance demands of the UAE market are familiar ground.

Our Story — How Chiller Van Service Grew From a Small Fleet
Chiller Van Service started in Dubai in March 2014 with four vehicles: three chiller vans and one freezer van. At the time, local food distributors struggled to find cold-chain transport they could depend on. Most options meant going through brokers who subcontracted trips to independent drivers with little real control over whether the cooling held.
Nazar Afridi took a different view. Temperature-sensitive cargo needs direct accountability, and accountability is difficult when the vehicle belongs to someone else. So the decision was made early: buy every vehicle, manage it, and maintain it in-house. No brokering, no subcontracting.
That reliability built trust with local suppliers, and repeat bookings followed. As demand outgrew the original four vans, referrals carried the work outward — first across Dubai, then into Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and the wider UAE. Twelve years on, the fleet has grown to more than 120 HACCP-certified vehicles across six categories, expanding beyond basic vans into specialised freezer units, heavy trucks and dual-temperature vehicles. All of them are still maintained in-house.
Our Complete Fleet of Refrigerated Vans and Trucks
Every vehicle we operate is owned outright and maintained by our own workshop — no leasing, no subcontracting. The fleet is built around six distinct categories so each load travels in a vehicle matched to its temperature and volume, rather than forced into whatever is available. Vans handle city routes and multi-drop deliveries; trucks carry bulk and inter-emirate volume. Every vehicle is maintained to HACCP food-safety standards, GPS-tracked, and kept in service through a scheduled in-house maintenance programme.

The People Who Keep Our Cold Chain Running
Behind our fleet of 120+ refrigerated vehicles is a team of over 170 people. Because we own every vehicle we deploy, the operation runs on in-house technical staff rather than third-party brokers, and vehicles are stationed at yards in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah so the nearest available unit can be dispatched rather than sent across the country. Every driver is trained in cold-chain logistics, temperature monitoring and HACCP handling to protect cargo integrity from pickup to delivery.
- Drivers (130+): Cold-chain trained operators covering standard, high-roof, heavy truck and multi-temperature routes across all three emirates.
- In-house mechanics & technicians (15): Refrigeration specialists and diesel mechanics servicing our units in our own workshops to minimise breakdown risk.
- Dispatch & operations (12): Round-the-clock route coordinators managing GPS tracking, temperature logs and delivery scheduling.
- Management (6): Operations managers overseeing fleet deployment and client accounts across Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah.
- Admin & support (8): Handling compliance documentation, billing and customer service.
Where We Operate Across UAE
Dubai
Dubai is our base and our busiest market. We supply restaurants, hotels and the city’s dense cluster of cloud kitchens across Business Bay, Al Quoz and JLT, where narrow delivery windows around lunch and dinner service leave no room for a late or warm drop-off. Vehicles run city-wide from Jebel Ali to Deira, handling both daily distribution routes and same-day urgent dispatch.
Abu Dhabi
In Abu Dhabi we serve Mussafah’s food-processing and catering base, retail and hospitality across Khalifa City and the capital, and the Al Ain dairy corridor — a 150km run where fresh milk and yoghurt have to hold +2°C to +4°C the entire way. Vehicles are stationed in the emirate for fast local dispatch, and we operate to ADAFSA food-transport requirements throughout.
Sharjah
Sharjah is the UAE’s food-manufacturing engine, and our work there follows that rhythm — pallet-volume loads out of the Industrial Areas, Al Sajaa and Saif Zone corridors, moving chilled and frozen FMCG goods to retailers across the Northern Emirates and into Dubai on fixed dispatch schedules.
